Just how do I get a DVD into Xvid format? The MPEGs are in 16:9 with AC3 recorded. Resolutionist standard 720x576. Have tried with AutoGk only is there the Resolutionauf 720x
306 changed, which then aufm Television doll does not really looks like. Can anyone give tips there?

the dvd's are already in mpeg format, which was made with VobEdit times. So gemuxt and muxt.
what settings should you have for the Xvid codec take? is so complicated ...

Take hand brake. It is fast and open source.
Http://handbrake.fr/?article=download This will allow you your (unprotected) DVDs in one go after convert XVID.
