saw in the instructions for the DVHStool read that before installation of the tools voerherige Treiberisntallation a JVC DVHS driver for Windows XP is required. All other sources of these drivers are already history a few years older ... is the latest in Win XP SP 2 is still required. Sorry for the Newbee question: how can I check in the system whether the onist with the drivers?

how can I check in the system whether the onist with the drivers? Quite simply - if you get your HDV camcorder in the same mode, followed by Windows does not ask for drivers, but simply shows the camcorder in the taskbar.
