Infoseite // Data rate HD format - for playback

Frage von ennui:

What data rates used, and which format s.besten you do if you want to show HD material cut somewhere, some of a USB stick on one of the newer video player? The original material has 7d eg yes. rather a relatively high bit rate, and has a corresponding test wiggled strong. What's so common?

Antwort von tommyb:

This is usually in the manual.

Moreover, it can be synonymous to the USB stick when it jerky ... or s.dem profile used for h264 (for h264 h264 is not the same) ...

1080p50 ~ 30Mbit / s
1080p25/i50 ~ 15Mbit / s
720p50 ~ 12Mbit / s
~ 720p25 6Mbit / s

@ Ennui
That depends on your codec that you are using and if you use h264 on the profiles, which will be applied.
You look at the best times in the (original) to stream, what is there given and take the same values. All changes can only lead to the deterioration of the image, allerbestenfalls only to increase the files, but in no case for image enhancement.

I have my HD a few things for lack of players and movies so far only on DVD-Resolutionruntergerechnet and so burned. The question came up here after I have the hd here concerned with slashCAM featured Playon mini player, just to look on an HD projector 7d original videos, play of an ordinary two years old USB stick. Then froze only the Picture, if it is not very jerky. Hence the question. The Canon 7d takes on even in a mov container, maybe it lags so synonymous. The Playon had mini, I think, very little documentation of the process where there was only that he pretty much everything is going s.Formaten, data rates of no speech. Something like a standard format or container for such an application is not created?

Antwort von WoWu:

H.264 codec, a standardized and is mp4 is just a standard container.
. Mov is a Apple's own container, which, while broadly consistent. Mp4 corresponds, but supported s.QT7 multi-channel sound.

So the mentioned Playon HD uses the decoder chip RTD1073 of Realtek. This chip can decode H.264, according to data with up to 104Mbit / s. Explicitly not decoded, the format 1080p50/60 (but not at issue here).

The EOS digital cameras use a different encoding as H.264 AVCHD camcorder. Also included in the MOV files encoded as H.264 data stream is CAVLC (this is compared to the usual CABAC AVCHD format by about 15% less efficient). There is also a fixed frame type sequence: a IDR-frame followed by 11 P-frames (with AVCHD encoded only at the beginning of each take an IDR frame, thus saves much bandwidth). Also the sound of the EOS cameras is in PCM-coded, what next bandwidth (1.5 Mbit / s to 192kbit / s AC3 to AVCHD) costs. In sum, the data stream is an EOS on scarce 40Mbit / s.

They are already 5MByte / s and could pose a real problem for older USB sticks. Could, however, the unusual format of the EOS Realtek decoder synonymous get out of step.

I would recommend to convert the files to a more usual H.264 format. For example, as 1080p25 H.264 Level 4.1 in the profile with CABAC at 15Mbit / s and the sound as a 256Kbit / s AAC in a MP4/MOV-Container.
