Hello!
I'm really s.verzweifeln I vomit (equal)! The following problem:
I have a SonyTRV-8E with a broken firewire port! I am therefore compelled with the Dazzle "working dvc 120" too! Was delivered naturally Studio 9 QuickStart. I have already tried:
With the program crashes, I s.meine locks up!
1. Studio 9 with update and without - Crashes s.sobald I click on exception. (Synonymous in vcd quality), but rarely went where I had Win XP (MCE now 05)!

I have no tip for your specific concerns, but since no one has volunteered, I would suggest to you a few alternatives:
Is it sure that the Firewire port on the camcorder is faulty and not the IEEE1394 card? The latter would be so expensive and not a replacement quickly. - If it is still s.Camcorders: Is perhaps soon, a new MiniDV camcorder s.and You could then capture with the new device via Firewire? - Or You can download the video recordings with a friend, acquaintance or colleague transferred to the calculator (can be)?
