Frage von StefanGaller:Hello!
In a separate, small video project I did with AVID Express DV a movie cut, this means squeeze the Quicktime Reference format in an MPEG2 format (m2v & m2a) and then placed the DVD with Lab Audio and video together to put a DVD (vob) . On the calculator, everything is wonderful. The DVD plays as it should.
Now, however, occurs when playing the DVD on the DVD player always an ugly crack in the sound. What could the problem and how to fix this?
For hints and tips always appreciated - Stefan
Antwort von Axel:
Is the sound at 48 kHz sampling rate?
Antwort von StefanGaller:
Yes. The sound is in the AVID Project and through the entire chain as a 48k set.

Antwort von AndyZZ:
What Audio - Video bitrate and what you have when converting to MPEG2 format? Both added bitrate should not exceed 9800 kbit / s, better: no more than 8500 kbit / sec. Many DVD Players come with the maximum bit rate is not clear.
Ex:
Video Bitrate: 8500 kbit / s
Audio Bitrate: PCM 1536 kbit / s
Total: 10036 kbit / s.
Since then nothing more ....

And in any case have a different DVD player to try.
Antwort von StefanGaller:
So, as I see, I have not PCM audio but uses MPEG2 audio (224Kbps) and MPEG2 video with 3000Kbps. Has the advantages of PCM audio?
Regards, - Stefan
Antwort von david2:
Because of the audio format:
PCM has no benefits - would be holding the best quality (which is reflected in the data)
LayerII with MPEG1 - audio has small data rates, hab 'but heard that some players have problems with it
Dolby Digital works on all players but on PAL DVD is not standard!
To your problem: I think it is s.verwendeten blank (no RW's and do not take PLUS)!

To your problem: I think it is s.verwendeten blank (no RW's and do not take PLUS)! I'm using Verbatim DVD + R 16x. Can there be times of course, synonymous with-R sample. However, I wonder why because an error occurs only in the audio?

Regards, - Stefan That's okay. Verbatim is synonymous gut. On + R can be synonymous not lie.
No clue ....

Have I said how
different experience.
The image signal has very different error management. DVD + R has a completely different structure (not to be compared with a pressed DVD).

The image signal has very different error management. DVD + R has a completely different structure (not to be compared with a pressed DVD). But he has
sound disorders.
The best times to actually try other players.
My DVD + R initially incidentally ran better than the DVD-R on the players ...
But now I use only DVD-R. No problems since then dozens of players.

Is the sound synonymous to-9dB ausgepegelt? Some digital playback devices when it comes oversteering or already off to a cracking 4db or Fiepen.
With the blanks sowas should have nothing to do, otherwise the picture would hang synonymous.
