I recorded with my Lumix TZ5 a concert video, which had a size of about 395 MB.
I wanted to see me s.Notebook (VLC is my default video player), but there was an error of unknown or incorrect file header. I also could not transfer the file of the SD Card on the laptop.
Also opening with Quicktime provided the same result.
chkdsk the file appeared to be repaired. However, it was smaller (only 289 MB). They, too, could now be copied.
But neither Quicktime nor VLC can be started with the video.
When the buffer VLC goes to the percentage display, but remains at 0%. After a short time veschwindet the displayed file name and then nothing happened.
As can not open the file, I can not convert synonymous.
Have you any idea how I may yet still get what from this file and can bring the video up and running?
Thank you once before for the help.

when even the vlc folds, might even virtual dub a chance, otherwise it seems to me hopelessly lost the file is because the card is not fast enough for video? that happens to you again.

Time ALWAYS SYNC with IsoBuster or try ddie File of the card to read with a card reader.

Thanks for the reply.
I have a Transcend SD HC Class B 16 GB card, which has never let me down.
Virtual Dub gives when opening the file, the error message that it would be an unknown or unsupported file type.
Perhaps you've still got an idea.

what class? otherwise look b.dekid. could of course be synonymous, that scandisk has given you the file still kaputtrepariert next, because of the reduction.

Naive question:
Can the process initiated with Scandisk, which has led to downsizing of the mov-file do undo it?
Have neither with IsoBuster, even with IsoPuzzle ALWAYS SYNC succeeded.
