Hello,
I want to reflect the Picture to hold the camera, immediately on a beamer.
The camera is angeschlosssen via Firewire s.Laptop.
The projector is also s.Laptop turn.
However, the picture of the camera is delayed at s.Laptop.
I guess the delay time ms to 300. Anyway, it is clearly visible and it is very disturbing.
If the delay normal or where it comes from?
Is it possibly s.der Camera and a recent model can thus be faster?
I am using an approximately 8 years old JVC with 2m Firewire.
Dell laptop with 2GHz, XP Prof, 4 GB of RAM.

The signal delay is caused by the signal processing system and is generally available.

Laptop via VGA to the projector, camera directly into the projector via composite, and then with source selection s.der remote control switch of the projector.
Jaaaa ... dear experts, I know that the "dirty". The way to behave other way ;-)
Ne to be only stopgap. But at least latency.

... And be careful with the switchers: I have an Edirol V-4, which has the analog inputs synonymous with a latency of about 4 frames (, 80 ms). Is less than Firewire but of lip synchronization can be no question.

@ david2 I hääte not gedaacht that has such a big Latentz. A frame is clear, is due to the TBC. Another I can not imagine any other reasons. But only 2 and not 4 frames ....
This always comes (or the latency of the playback device, TFT, LCD projector). As can be synonymous added one or two frames.

The V-4 is still an image processor in it (;) for the "wonderful" effects.
4 frames and are not so tragic when about 20 m of the speakers wegsteht's fit again. (; Am I now not exactly worked out.)

Is there any possible answer almost lip sync with (get a computer in between, possibly with video grabber, etc.)? Only if you durchschleift the signal - but that is with a firewire solution is not possible.
Moreover, the delay between the camera -> mixer -> Projectors usually is so small that it is not very noticeable.
If the delay is still present, it is often s.Gerät which the Picture shows (; projector, TV, etc.). Professional mixers as building barely a delay.

I must correct myself: (The 4 frame delay, above) come about in the preview on my TFT. A CRT monitor connected directly s.den V-4 makes only 2 frames latency.
