I'll get something out next, because the problem is a little broader. :)
There is really only a problem of detail, but perhaps you can yes give me some good tips.
We make of our weekly reports prepared one weeks DVD with Encore CS4. Previously, this was always kept very simple to keep the amount of machining to a minimum. (; Only the date was changed and a few preview images via drag and drop put into the menu.)
I have to invest in the future for the DVD menu are stored in the reports. (; As with chapter markers and preview images)
Synonymous as far as the menu had been created. Now I would like (for the transition between the main menu and the submenu animation; Creating After Effects), in which the main menu breaks down and builds up the submenu.
This is of course no problem in principle, synonymous - but I wish that the date is taken from the main menu in the Animation and will then be rendered in the animation.

If I have understood you correctly, you want to use the PSD file as an animation template.
If you have Photoshop synonymous, then double-click on your main menu in Encore, so it opens. Now the Tastenkürtzel Ctrl + Shift + M Öffen to it in PS. then save a copy of PSD file and import it into After Effects. However, persistence so that all levels.
The same mimiter do sub-menu.
In AE you nin 2 precompositions main menu and submenu.
Animate in the HM-comp until it all out with keyframes. except the date.
Then, purely in the UM-comp everything. Now make a new comp
"glue" the HM and UM-comp-comp in this together and render the whole as an AVI with DV codec out.
Change back into Encore.
Import the AVI and create it into a timeline.
By linking the button that leads to the UM in HM with this timeline and I set this as the end action for the UM.
That should have been.
I hope this was understandable because usually I'm sitting in lectures s.der explain to the students, the university and with Beamer and because they can not fool it. but that's something else.
