Frage von herlitz:Hello,
I would like to buy myself a Canon XH-A1 but I have seen on the Internet a good offer for a XH-A1s.
However, I notice in the
"Slashcam camcorder-Comparison" test image, the result of the two cameras is very different (better than xh xh-A1-A1s), with the same technical data.
Is this just coincidence or is there a difference on this?
Thanks in advance

"s" is the successor model - you should take more.

B. DeKid Since it is a newer model, I'm going to assume it's better.
There must have been in the test shots, but the conditions vary widely.
Especially in Lowlightbereich!

Hello,
That can vary with test pattern. My impression (pictures I've seen) is that there is more noise in the A 1 in the A 1 s, the noise reaches a little harder. The brightness and the image errors, I would classify as the same as in (at the same aperture and gain at 1 / 50 sec).
Test pictures but they are always dangerous, yes, all parameters must be the same ....
But there are plenty of small improvements can make the A 1 s for the winner. Eg how it is now possible to change the zoom and the focus simultaneously. When white balance, there are still more steps Kelvin, a separate pre-amplification of the 2 channels is now synonymous possible external and internal micro simultaneously used, connector for 2nd viewfinder, more precise gain setting, aperture and gain control, Audiobegrenzer And many small things.
