Frage von Acer:Hello everybody,
normally Cams with Free Analog-In and S-video, etc., are always more than just cams with digital-out. I already have long been a "Blue Box" I'd call them times, of Pinnacle (included in Studio 8). Although it is not Firewire, but I still would like to know:
1. If the quality is the same as with Firewire.
2. It replaces the analog-in with cams, so that it is unnecessary.
For I can connect my Analog Panasonic GS101 (on yellow / white / red RCA)
3. If these yellow / white / red time equivalent as Firewire.
Thanks in advance

At first glance I would say that is a breakout box for analog capture card. How does the cable look s.anderen end? What time is your turn and which direction to lead them? But they are all analog connections. The big jacks are S-video, composite Cichbuchsen the yellow and red and white is for the sound. The whole in each case as education and input.

Does this mean that the digital MiniDV quality is lost?
They end in a wide narrow Steckedose with 26 small round holes. The time is red, with screws to fasten the left and right.

Hello Philip,
In this case, it is probably a breakout box, as suspected of Peter. The quality of an analog signal can not logically be the same as when capturing via firewire.
If you want to capture one MiniDV tape and its uses for the analog inputs on the breakout box, which are recorded by the camcorder first "analogies" and then digitized by the PC again. Besides, quality is lost.
It makes sense to the breakout box but then, if you want to capture analog of ball. How good is the hardware here, you can easily find out by testing, right? ;-)

PS: The photos are with me, and say what: Canon MV850i made (1024x768) Hello,
it is the Braekbox of Pinnacle, but without firewire,
"Then she sees out of the front. (From top left to the right of the bottom left to bottom right): Any input, then yellow / white / red RCA-in, below is the same, but everything out"
The top and bottom left jack is for S-Video Cable PLUS all special audio cable.
I process has long been my analog material. Which card do you have that?
To get back playing on the kamrea, this must be enabled for TAKING.
