I would like to digitize for my family members old VHS and S-VHS tapes. Although the pictures are sometimes very bad / old I want to achieve the best possible final quality and (where payable) pay the price for it synonymous.
Although I have informed me in detail, still have one or the other question on the "player"
The reference products have been me the Panasonic Panasonic NV-FS200 HQ and the JVC HR-S9600 known. These are synonymous advertised in forums (synonymous in this one) as "the best S-VHS Recorder".
Now for my questions:
Are D-VHS equipment possibly better? The two are possibly osGeräte been tested at a time when there was no D-VHS equipment. Thus the test may not be more meaningful (or perhaps?).
A D-VHS machine with very many, for me as a lay good sounding features is the Mitsubishi HS-HD2000U D-VHS or the HM DH30000U.
The device is only for the digitalisation of S-VHS and VHS tapes are synonymous and I am willing to pay the price. The question is whether the worth or whether we should really stick to the better S-VHS Recorder.
Next question:
Can one with the D-VHS equipment directly digitize synonymous (is a A / D converter built in)? Is perhaps the quality is better than S-VHS Recorder + ADVC-300. (Have an extra for old Video8 tapes Digital 8 camcorder and it had acquired, in Comparison to Cam Video 8 + A / D converter more than worth it.)
Now I am not clear if newer models of the same series "auto" are better.
I would be very pleased with the response to the osFragen.
Greetings

D-VHS is not likely to get just like the D-VHS tapes (evtl.in USA) otherwise it could be used in MPEG-2 14 mb / s or Long Play (record 300 Tape 21 hours), also of course synonymous S -VHS and VHS. What then is Raußkommt analog converters so that one is due to Firewire. The JVC 9600 is good, the Pana's have a little more sharpness, BUT if you are in good condition, you will get novh questionable.

D-VHS is a completely different system than VHS and S-VHS. It stores the data used to digitally s.and the mpeg2 codec, largely identical With HDV. The Recorder of you mentioned are expensive, although backward-compatible, but you probably get no benefits for playing old VHS tapes.

@ Eduardkiefel: Wow, did you inform broad already.
It seems to irritate you that the digitalization itself. But it is worth the purchase of necessary hardware? You write not by how many tapes you have.
Since you have made yourself very clever, you know perhaps synonymous relating to the numerous discussions in the forum?
Finally put the "controversy" around the CANOPUS ADVC 300, I myself have synonymous?
If you want to have maximum quality synonymous and are willing to pay a reasonable price, may come back of Mark into the game. Here is his website:

Good. Are the current model from the same series or better, at least as good. (In most cases these are synonymous to get easier). The FS 200 is the older model of the SV 121, the newer (see here http://www.digitalfaq.com/forum/showthread.php/vcr-buying-guide-1567.html?s=b617fac22d5439f5ceadce6925fd5c92 &)

Here, especially in the Mitsubishi device features named some that sound interesting. Aussderm synonymous, I have once read that the new devices and can therefore possibly a better drive (?) Have.
@ Nicecam The suggestions are quite good. Have relatively much material (more than 40 cassettes). The units can be sold after digitization yes synonymous again. Also, I am not sure whether the costs justify of at least 300 EUR then yes indeed, the costs remain as the difference in quality. In any case the offer of "St. Mark" very good and still cheap. Gonna move this probably for the very poor shots into consideration.
The results beat ADVC300/dessen / s for me as Leien a good impression and even though I made my attempt with a rather bad player. If, however, certainly synonymous to the tape on.
That I should not expect miracles when the output material is not optimal, is clear. But the difference in the As video quality 8 and a Digital 8 DV as a "player" is enormous. Similar effects I would now like to synonymous VHS tapes for the S-VHS.
Thank you for your answers.
