Frage von serserstmal:Have a directional microphone of Rode (; NTG-2).
When one considers the micro in the hand and the hand moves a little, then they lead to "rattle".
I've seen not long ago a video in which someone manages to suppress this noise. Can not find the video anymore. Does anyone of you, how to avoid this "rattling"? Believe that the person who has something stuck to his microphone.
(; Logical that it booms are ...: P - If me, "hold in your hand" in particular to that.)
Thank you:)

I've seen not long ago a video in which someone manages to suppress this noise. You surely a foam windscreen over it. Formerly the ME 80 or synonymous with the MKH 416 I've always done it that I have touched the microphone as below the end of the windscreen. Thus it was sufficiently decoupled. Otherwise, check times, whether the diameter of the microphone allows the use of an MTS 415th

Rode blimp - the hammer

Rode blimp - the hammer Of course, a basket windscreen (with shock mount and Fell) represent the best solution, but I had understood that there should be a small as possible and cheap solution.

Directional microphones can be due to their properties either telepathically stay in the air or wind is used to decouple baskets.
Nothing else.
Antwort von soan:
It does not have a complete wind basket are not equal - is the main thing the Microphone-decoupled. ie is not directly angepatscht.
There are eg holders for hand fishing with small handle or possess only a universal rubber sleeve. Fits into it all common directional microphone. Above and still is a suitable Deadcat (s.besten also with rubber sleeve, these are the best for this purpose) and finished the "small" decoupling combined.
Antwort von Numquam:
It can be synonymous to the XLR - Cables are, if it is shielded only Mider.
Since then enough synonymous even touch it, so there is noise.
But the decoupling of the microphone is already not important.
That would be the experience I gained.

Could be synonymous, that he with "rattle" a possible weakness especially of the Rode NTG-2 describes.
A friend of mine had with the NTG-2-like noise, even though he had used it in one-Rode Blimp.
After he has tested it several of NTG-2 (all with the same problem), he tried a NTG-1. Result: "rattling" away.
Could probably s.einem shaky part of the phantom are the NTG-2.
Therefore, perhaps a test NTG-1, or, if no camcorder or mixer with an external phantom power available to try a different micro-battery with its own phantom power.
Second option, if it's really s.Micro is to try the "rattling" part to find and "fix" would be.
