Frage von bernie_r:Hello,
after several years of abstinence from video hobby, I have decided to devote myself more again this hobby.
The flood s.neuen camcorders for me is very confusing. In comparative tests, the devices are compared synonymous always nice to each other, but I have absolutely no feeling of how far my existing camera as it can still compete.
I have a CANON MVX3i. As was once a top 46 mm Camera with Lens and intensity 1.6. But it is not HD!
I still own a calculator with Intel Core2 Duo (; 2x 3 Ghz) on the MAGIX Video de Luxe X plus runs. I can cut video and I will remain synonymous.
I still have! an old tube TV. Be filmed primarily family stories, creative movies, which are then burned to DVD or publish on Youtube.
Now my question is this enough: my MVX3i from high, or to deliver newer HD camcorders (; HDV or AVCHD) in the price range of 500 to 800 EUR truly seen better movies?
Thanks and greetings
Bernie

HD cameras in either case a much better resolution and therefore more detail. It even comes in an old tube television to express. The full quality shows but of course only on a LCD or plasma.
Regarding the sensitivity to light, there are between the HD Cams major differences. Here, detailed information is really needed on the currently popular models. Only I can not give, unfortunately, because my SonyHC1 become synonymous is no longer current.

since you have another tube TV, you do not bring a lot of HD, besides problems with incision, with your calculator will not work as smoothly as usual.
I would recommend switching to HD only if appropriate TV and computer is available. In 1-2 years are in fact the HD devices synonymous again be cheaper.
For 500-800 ¬, although you can get an HD camcorder with good picture, but not with your present equipment Cam (; with viewfinder, etc.).

good hd camcorder low-class in the target as the canon hv20 is probably synonymous reflect on a display tube and youtube for a better picture, one should not be forgotten: the qualities of (and often somewhat underestimated) MVX3i as the excellent focus ring, the somewhat large building, and the manual controls can be found now only in higher price classes yet. The MVX3i is old, but has some qualities, especially if you deliberately not want to operate in the west bags camcorder format.

I always say, the HD-TV is einestages standing in the living room. And by then you will want to bite in the ass, if not now be filmed in HD. (With an appropriate player, such as WD-TV without a hard disk with USB ports or Popcorn with possibility of internal hard disk etc.) may be søger already cut the HD in HD exported watch on any TV.
Which HD cam is still another question. But does such as HDV with Canon HV20 or HV30 is certainly not far wrong. HDV will be cut like butter on a C2D 3GHz. Ev. (yet to schedule fittings; mic very important for Canon HV20/30!, wide angle, etc.). AVCHD is still a pain to cut.
