Hi All,
I am the one medical student in the seventh semester and the other an ambitious filmmakers with prof. Experience, that I have ever worked on public projects, corporate films and movies, or even marriage produced.
Now it is for me in August to an elective period, which is a kind of internship for medical students to Tanzania in a "bush hospital".
This certainly gives great pictures.
I have a good old Canon XL1 and now wonder what there is now s.bezahlbaren alternatives.
Objective: broadcast material which can provide public service broadcasting for a short or longer synonymous contribution.
Value Framework for me as a student is not so great, and honestly, is not more than 3000, - Neuanschaffungspreis inside.
Since one is still not much useful, the sector HDV.
So well, only the SonyHVR-A1E HVR-V1E or better for Choice.
What do you think? Dear rotate with the XL1 and provide solid PAL material, or invest in one of these simple HDV cams?

It would be good for you, what you want to have material for broadcasters. And then buy a camera. At any rate, I would not take the XL1 because they can not 16:9 And this is with the most important, especially if you only SD and not HD - you have to offer material.
Want you now only buy a new camera or if anything else deemed accessories (tripod, microphone, etc) still synonymous to that? And the camera needs to be new or second hand would be synonymous imaginable, because then the choice is much larger.
I personally would be used for a Panasonic HVX / HPX (of course) attack, because I have switched to what many Öffis DVCPROHD or are still present.
