Ladies and gentlemen,
once nothing technical, but a question about collaboration, workflow and editing a documentary.
I am doing with a colleague just a 45-minute (including the broadcast date of the end of August), we have material for 40 hours with different protagonists. After each of us half of the material and pre-caught, we have the material of each other further.
Now, the whole thing in about 3 hours heruntergedampft, Drechbuch there's none, just a concept, because in my opinion as a report from the material and the film lives in the intersection is found.
Now the question: How would you say to the 3 hours 45 minutes heruntersieben? That simply is a lot of editing work, there is no doubt, but there's some original and creative approaches to speed up this process or easier?

Always along the story (which hopefully are) cut.
Otherwise, the only one picture with moving images, the only family interested politeness sake.

How should ma da a tip, if only it is said that this is a documentary with the protagonists involved. Yes because what, for example, the hysteresis of the rubber buffer?

This is not the movie will pause, perhaps times an unexperienced show insist on honest answer, then the aim to get closer.
