here is a question that presents itself to me (and many others certainly synonymous) again and again: Must we mitkalkulieren in video projector design for the Hardcover Action Safe area. Cut a beamer, like a CRT TV set away parts of the image? How is it with plasma and LCD displays?
Thank you in advance for helpful answers Regards, Max

Hello, Your production at home as long as you vorführst closed doors and have a projector, which has a Switchable overscan, you need a standard does not even take care of.
Once your production, however, leave your house, you have to be addressed later. - Not all foreign Projector / LCD / Plasmas have an adjustable (switched off) overscan. - Broadcasters necessarily require an Action Safe Area - Grandma and Grandpa have mglw. Beamer and not look on a normal Television - In competitions is generally projected with overscan - At fair presentations may vary, for example, the planned projector and a rapidly procured replacement can not be switched off, or have a completely different Overscanbereich.
You could continue your list. Long story short: just keep s.The norm, then there are no nasty surprises. Greeting Wiro

The "overscan standard"? What there is not anything available ...
When did I miss that?
The problem with projectors is surely the other way round, you have things in the picture, which, when not shooting "with were on it." At least if one does not use a control monitor.

In the film, television and video area, there is nothing that is not standardized or regulated, at least through referrals. Imagine were times before, all members of this forum know the standards - it would appear about 50% of the questions does not arise. And imagine Just imagine that everyone would know not only the standards, but is still synonymous hold it - then it will eliminate another 30% of the questions.
Conclusion? We suddenly had nothing more to write and discuss. A fatal condition. ;-))) Greeting Wiro
