Frage von Fudoh:Hello dear community,
I finally started my VHS tapes to digitize. On the PC a PMS Page Sweetspot card installed, which records directly into Huffyuv. As recorder, I use iuVCR because the program is synonymous with the sound synchronously dirtiest material holds the Picture.
At setter Page I've tried four players (SonySLV-E9, SLV-SF990, SVO-1500P and JVC one HS9600). The choice has fallen on the Sony Studio Player (1500P), because he delivers the sharpest and detailsreichste Picture of fours.
With thousands of tapes, there's 20 years old and still here because dropouts, which (in the capture by a completely green field do not show a full frame).
Since I have neither the desire nor the time gecapturte material prior to encoding to MPEG2 (prospects in real time and then overlooked but possibly a green field somewhere), I asked whether there is any program that automatically search the stream such that Fields can. Possibly. a program that the histogram of AVIs searched by specific criteria? Or one can look for after a tough jump / color changes?
Any idea?
Thanks for any advice!
Regards,
Tobias

Hello Tobias,
could be a timebase corrector (TBC) image errors such as these might be avoided? I know these are only problems of the direct A / D conversion without signal correction.
Avid Liquid, I know that errors in the DV stream will be marked on the timeline. But I fear for analog leaked, A / D-converted material is not. After all, a digital error is anything other than an analog, then the correct (! Has been changed) into the DV format.

could be a timebase corrector (TBC) image errors such as these might be avoided? The JVC player has a built-in TBC. Problem is that the material is sometimes so bad that the TBC nothing rausholen it tends more and more worse it.
But even the man, this AviSynth script searches and recognizes the auto dropouts:
clip = AviSource (source). ConvertToYV12
white = AviSource ( "d: \ temp \ abc3.avi"). ConvertToYV12
black = AviSource ( "d:) \ temp \ abc2.avi. ConvertToYV12
ConditionalFilter (clip, white, black, "UDifferenceFromPrevious ()", ">", "25", true)
ConvertToYUY2
abc2.avi is 2h long pure black,
abc3.avi is 2h long pure white.
The script marks dropouts in the video with a white screen, the rest is black ...
Now you can simply click in VDub to "find next scene transition" and he always plays well to the next dropout.

Had a question as synonymous. Is it synonymous with digital transfer via firewire to get dropouts are not displayed when you capture?
Antwort von Markus:
Andreas Yes, that happens.
Antwort von AndreasBloechl:
But now you make me weak. I have filed about 10 tapes so at ext. Plates without visual control. Can I then just as it does not look confident Vegas when I reported, 0 dropped frames.
Antwort von Markus:
I do not know under what circumstances, reports Vegas Dropped one frame. I use the Matrox capture tool, and that's very good natured, which overlooked the concerns of transmission errors.
In return, I crash when capturing synonymous nothing s.and the DV AVI file (with the exception of a possible image disturbance) is technically okay, and makes the editing program (Premiere) no difficulty.
Capture, I never do blind synonymous if I could give no specific measure s.schlechter experience as a reason for it. I still have an older s.Schnittplatz Calculator, with which I can surf the Internet during this time. - Just like now. ;-)

Well, I would then have to see if I need the file again if there was a negative is there.
