I've read through the article once, sounds interesting. However, I am skeptical because terms such overclocking. The gain in performance relative to the set price is indeed enormous. Allerdiings I have my doubts that the long hold out the CPU? What makes me a calculator where I can replace every few months, the CPU (120 ¬ is synonymous yes no tip).
There are overclockers among you who use the calculator not only to gamble but synonymous for "serious" applications such as video editing, etc. -/Image. What are your experiences and what do you think of this article? All sounds tempting already .. ;-)

Greetings - BeeZee. I know of no serious editor, Calculator modding their own building, or overclock. An overclocked PC with Premiere is for example, I am deeply unprofessional.

I know of no serious editor, Calculator modding their own building, or overclock. An overclocked PC with Premiere is for example, I am deeply unprofessional. seriously how many editors do you know?

Have here just an AMD 3000 + which now has been running for almost 2 years for a 3800 and he was never warm above 50 degrees.

Stability is a very important factor in order to be able to work professionally. Absolute agreement. So just real. The whole can be synonymous but to the rest of the configuration (hard disks transfer, power supplies, etc., etc.). The experience needs to make any myself. For a wedding film, cut in Premiere, certainly enough synonymous with a CPU 1Ghz.

I have overclocked my 2.8GHZ now for 2 years to ~ 3.2 GHz and have never had problems. One even asked not synonymous, that the CPU's to live forever, right? In half a year I will upgrade my calculator and fitted with current components. When the CPU up to then hold was full ok.
