Hi,
Are there other cut-and VFX systems such as Avid MC, Final Cut, Combustion, a counterpart to the dynamic-link technology?
I think this unfortunately often very unstable, I do not know if it is s.meinem system (Windows 7 Prof 64bit 4GB RAM, AMD Phenom quad-core 3GHz) or s.der CS5 Master Collection.

I was working with 1.5 TB of data s.MXF P2 cards. If I had to convert the material such as an Avid codec format before I can use the advantages of clip references? If that then everything uncompressed / lossless codecs?

Avid MC 3 P2 can since native, that is, over the corresponding Media Manager, the files are 1:1 copies of the map and integrated into the database. In the 4 s.aufwärts is more elegant from the program directly without an external tool. In the 5 Series is supposed to even go all the drag & drop ...
