Frage von mark:I suspect that my new HC90 had a defect in new condition. The following pictures were taken in sports mode (25 progressive frames / s). There is a very bright light (but no direct sunlight) then create vertical reddish discoloration around the Height of the image. With my old canon mv30i I never had such problems.
Is that a peculiarity of the HC90 or broken?
The clearest example:
zum Bild The bright light produces the red stripes in the left half:
zum Bild The rods, which produce the bright background to cover the entire building height dark stripes to bottom:
zum Bild Another bright stripes in the visual center:

I can probably err synonymous, but I do not think it is a "defective. Because I'm synonymous with a camera that Canon MVX3i, and when it is so synonymous. When I am on the inside of a window films and pretty much the sun is shining outside, I get so synonymous with red stripes.
That will be such an effect as the light goes through the line of the picture when a light bulb or something filmed.
Antwort von Reinhold Kaufmann:
Yes, it will probably look for a defect in the camera and I would imagine s.deiner act immediately, with the aim of a new camera Sonyzu demand. You read in any case with one who put off, warranty Repratur ", but insisted on Neuersatz.

Hello Mark,
I had thought initially s.den smear effect, especially in the recording of point light sources leads to vertical stripes in the picture (and is completely normal). The picture shown to you of errors but not typical. I would claim the synonymous camcorder!
Antwort von mark:
got it now again in more detail, the effect only occurs when using the "Program AE" SPORT. In AUTO or the other car settings can not see anything. At least you can display on the camcorder, see nothing.
Is there some other owner of a HC90 here in the forum, which could quickly try out the sport mode times for me?
The stupid thing is that I would use the camera to 99% for sports photography ...
Antwort von Markus:
Hello Mark,
The exposure program "Sports" is working but with a shorter shutter speed (less than the usual 1 / 50 s). As long as you want to perform a movement study, you do not need this setting. In addition, movements look more fluid if they are included with normal exposure time.
Nevertheless, it would be advantageous if you could tell someone, whether this phenomenon synonymous with other HC90 occurs in sport mode. (I can), unfortunately not.

I know myself as not so good, but in sport mode, which is probably synonymous Fukusierung differently programmed, for example, that moving objects are not in the middle, be brought into focus. That would be of benefit for my sports.
When I use the sport mode, manual exposure settings, I can avoid the red effects. But is still strange ...

Hello Mark,
EUR 300 for a camcorder, I would have said, somewhere, the cheap price are coming (=) cheap quality. But with a camera for around 750 EUR, this aspect can not be true. Since I would reclaim the device remains.
It would be interesting times to get a statement of someone who has also a HC90.
