720p was the work of people s.IRT in Munich. The EBU has, however, other members, such as the BBC (which incidentally has never set to 720p). Also accept most private broadcasters, the EBU recommendations as a basis.

Why do I come to this statement?
The output quality is different at 1080i deinterlacer in the first instance by the video device that the agonyty is relatively good or fairly. When 720p is only scale a relatively simple, but in the long term, eh 1080p (50fps) assert (another subject).

Exactly! I do not know what all these decisions are made, but afterwards when everything is messed produced, processed and sent. The ZDF has backtracked again and wants of synonymous 720P away because the rest of the world delivering 1080i. And that will remain synonymous comes to 1080p50.

And that is indeed the biggest nonsense. Neither ARD nor ZDF will broadcast the format change and what comes in front of production is already "sound and smoke" while 720p will be broadcast by the station. And nothing will change until 1080p50 probably not synonymous.
