Frage von silentzero:Does any of you, which subsampling the EOS 550D has recordings on video? 4:2:0, 4:2:2 or 4:4:4? Or someone knows a tool with which I can analyze a recording on it?
Thank you and Merry Christmas.
Antwort von deti:
4:2:0

The images in 4:4:4 but already, right?
Antwort von deti:
The images in 4:4:4 but already, right? No. JPEG makes 4:2:0, 4:2:2 RAW

Wow, now I'm disappointed. Is that true of all cameras? Why never refers to a the full color?

Wow, now I'm disappointed. Is that true of all cameras? Why never refers to a the full color? Yes, that's all consumer cameras Sun You notice the difference anyway.

Ok, thanks.
Antwort von deti:
I must correct myself: the JPEG format, Canon is synonymous 4:2:2 - and more in a Bayer sensor, as I understand not. This is how the SOF0 header from an EOS 550D-image:
Component [1]: ID = 0x01, Samp Fac = 0x21 (Subsamp 1 x 1), Quant Tbl Sel = 0x00 (Lum: Y)
Component [2]: id = 0x02, Samp Fac = 0x11 (Subsamp 2 x 1), Quant Tbl Sel = 0x01 (chrome: Cb)
Component [3]: ID = 0x03, Samp Fac = 0x11 (Subsamp 2 x 1), Quant Tbl Sel = 0x01 (chromium: Cr)

The JPEG I do not really care less anyway, RAW is better to me anyway.
Antwort von deti:
The JPEG I do not really care less anyway, RAW is better to me anyway. Subsampling said on Raw makes absolutely no difference!

But something has to be RAW's better, right? Otherwise it makes no sense.
Antwort von deti:
But something has to be RAW's better, right? Otherwise it makes no sense. You have no DCT and a dynamic range of 14, instead of 8 bits.

Oh, and what is DCT?
