Hi All,
in my new company I recently films ever with the EX-3. Super camera ;-). 've Already made some videos, but here came to me 2 things in Spanish, which I've seen with other much cheaper camcorders never work /. This is first of all the sharpness at close range .. Here I do not get objects / faces really sharp, although I'm not really in the macro range. That should do a camera in this price range yet. The 2nd is that the white balance outside not working properly. I always get value of about 12,000, has no preference as the weather outside. Does anyone know these problems?
White wodran someone could be this?

The "macro-function" applies only if du film with the smallest focal. Once you increase the focal, the close focus is shifting to the rear. Welcome to the world of professional cameras, cheap camcorders only come with its standard lens on a minimum focusing distance of approximately 5-10mm, but even there, what was said above applies to larger focal lengths.
The 2nd is that the white balance outside not working properly. I always get value of about 12,000, has no preference as the weather outside. How do you make the White Balance (or manual) via automatic? Please ensure you are synonymous to the ND message and select a good ND filter setting, otherwise outshines the Picture.

Each lens has a limit s.der can not be made sharp. The minimum distance is synonymous of the focal subject. When you're full telephoto, that interval may be quite 1 meter or more.

Take control of your time, the firmware version, which should now be fixed, the bug is Sonybekannt. In EX3 there, as far as I know, has absolutely no firmware update - this is not synonymous for the White Balance.

Thank erstmal for the answers! Has already helped me once .. So if I record something Nah möchste should I turn whenever possible weitwinkling. Do I have to ask then to the Macro button to switch on? What's the difference, I have seen hitherto not yet. That with the white balance then really seems to be a bug. Hitherto, I could always turn to Preset6000, but dat is so stupid anyway.

I'm now time an EX3 caught. There was a firmware 1040 on it, when I can understand no problem with the white balance.
