Hi folks,
Final Cut 5.4.1 is installed, XD Cam Transfer 2.1 synonymous, in the Quicktime version 7.6
Unfortunately, anyone know the files of the sxs card from the EX3 still unable to walk.
I can have Final Cut Pro import xd cam dial, then the corresponding synonymous window and I can see clips as a file. The preview does not work, because there is "no media", and the Import button remains gray and not selectable.
Who knows as to what? The question there's been times here in the forum but did not answer when rum ...

Is your drive SxS offline?
Delete your SxS drives the top left of the transfer program, connect your EX3 again s.and start your transfer program separately, now you should drive a new SxS see - it is synonymous with whether online or offline! - The thumbnails are synonymous offline - where before there was an online connection!

XDCAM Transfer importing can not be easy ... I still beat me with "no media available" rum.
Clips are there but can not be played.
Could it be that the codec is missing? The well should be but with the software install ...
Also: on the XDCAM Clip Browser can watch everything flawlessly.

On the SonyPage where you XDCAM Transfer downloading is, however, version 5.4.1
see below:
MacOS X version 10.4.10 or higher (version 10.4.11 or higher is required for PDW-U1)
QuickTime version 7.2 or higher
Final Cut Pro version 5.1.4 or higher and the most recent Apple Pro Applications Update. (version 6.0.2 or higher is required for editing XDCAM EX clips.)
Other tips? has yet to be ... (at least the import times)

I've read many reports that describe the workflow and everywhere was that Final Cut Pro 6 is the sine qua non.
If you have more to do with it, then put the update to you, then you will have no more problems
