Hello Community
I got EX3 footage. However, only the CLPR folder. The Takre folder with the SMI and XML files and Cueup.xml and Mediapro.xml missing. So I have to. Mp4 files and would have to cut it.
I am working on a PC with CS3.
1. Quicktime Pro generates me "Error 2010"
2. Premiere can. Mp4s not read (unsupported format)
3. After Effects to read Picture is great, but audio is missing!
4. The XDCAM Transfer tool does not recognize. Mp4 files.
Is there any way to convert mp4 files to a format, without making the information available from the root folder (BPAV) are?
Thanks in advance for help and tips! 'm Really baffled.

Try it with MPEG Streamclip, or with the demo version of Vegas Pro 9

Vegas transcoded the file, so that not only the container format, but the MPEG data stream synonymous changes, which s.Bildqualität in any case a loss caused.
Activate @ Marco: "Long-GOP rendering without recompression" is not possible, just to go for DV AVI, DV MXF, IMX MXF, HDV and HD MXF

Thanks for the info, Deti. Have tested the footage. For this project's enough. The material is rotated 1920x1080 and will ultimately be used for an intranet project with a maximum of 640x360.
But good to know with the transcoding. Thanks for your help.

Hi,
I have with me in the downloads section (see signature), a program which converts MP4 to normal MPG. For me, it works just fine.
