Frage von Herbert13:Hello,
Of there is a Canopus ProCoder for about 70 euros. Will the real "Edelversion" Edius Pro more determined, or sufficient for normal encoding of avi to mpg (VHS or S-VCD) synonymous of cheap ProCoder?

Antwort von wolfgang:
For the encoding of DV-avi to mpeg Resolution720x576 the PAL for DVDs or SVCDs of Procoder Express extends to 70 euros well.
If however, of HDV footage to SD mepg be converted, then the Procoder Express stops - because not enough of itself to transform the spaces properly controlled. Then Edius (Encoded and requires out of the timeline) - which is included in the Edius Procoder Express. Or just the standalone product Procoder 2nd

Antwort von Paul:
If the Express does not correctly represent the color spaces, how it Edius
with creating the very same Procoder Express. Or are there differences in the encoder?
Antwort von WeiZen:
Moin,
because it will deliver Edius accordingly. The Part then takes Edius.
If one uses only the PCE for Edius alone, one has the same color space problem. From the TL of Edius is not.
Or Procoder2. He has a filter for which the PCE has not.
Antwort von wolfgang:
So it is, as Ulrich says. The correct color space conversion then takes just Edius, and the Procoder Express already provides you with the converted material.
