Frage von dustdancer:Moin together. I'm looking for "translated" effect name. In the tutorials, which are mostly in English, will often effect the name is dropped and then often I am sitting here and looking for it in my German version of AE. Is there any page, so to say a "dictionary" for the effect name?
Or can one tell me how Posterize in the German version is called AE.
Thanks already times in advance
And I can maybe someone tell me how I saw the Channel Combiner: RGB to YUV, hinbekommen with s.cs3?
Antwort von baststar:
after effects you could synonymous in English start. go to the installation directory / language and then the link to the English version to run.
The second question I have now no hand ...
Antwort von Prinzregent:
He wants it in German! Think you just what the effect is and how he called on German köntne.
Antwort von baststar:
And tomorrow, he searches for a name again ...
Then maybe completely in English!
And these English-German translation of Adobe .... As I say at times nothing ...

Antwort von dustdancer:
that with the switch to english is super, that is synonymous. merci.
Antwort von Debonnaire:
Even easier is if you get for each AE to create a shortcut for a German and English.
In the Target box, enter the following:
In German:
"C: \ Program Files \ Adobe \ Adobe After Effects CS3 \ Support Files \ AfterFX.exe"-L EN In German:
"C: \ Program Files \ Adobe \ Adobe After Effects CS3 \ Support Files \ AfterFX.exe"-L EN You can find the ready, prepared otherwise synonymous shortcuts in the folder
C: \ Program Files \ Adobe \ Adobe After Effects CS3 \ Languages As with all Adobe applications s.derselben always commands the same place in the menus are sitting, you can by counting in one language, then switch to the other and the same count again, slightly to the commands in different languages come.
In Premiere Pro, incidentally, you can switch the language by using in the registry under
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Adobe \ Premiere Pro \ version number ( "version number" replaced by the version number of the current installation (CS3 = 3.0)) the key "Language" option is . Valid values are eg
"en_US", "en_US", "fr_FR", "it_IT". One can thus eg the key to a *. reg file and export in two different versions to create, so relatively easy to switch languages of PPro.
Really a shame that the elegant nature of the language version, such as switching to AE in the other Adobe applications do not (or just clumsy via the Registry) synonymous works! Here would be what to improve, Adobe Guys! :-)
