Hello.
My grad work in Encore DVD. The Project, which I create, I would like to offer degrees in addition to the video sequences, synonymous a heading "Tools", which linked, for example, a folder with pictures (which you can then look in the usual manner in Explorer) and access documents in PDF and / or Word format. I guess that would be synonymous not a pure DVD-Video, but a kind of multi-format DVD osae. ?
Question: Is it doable with Encore (if so, how?) Or which program controls something?

First of Encore is made to build according to the standard for DVDs to Standaloneplayer. A Standaloneplayer can not have any pdf's and the like.
But you can burn additional data on the DVD. It does not bother the Standaloneplayer and the PC can read it.
I'll do it this way:
In the menu there is the bonus point. When selecting a new menu comes up in the stands that the DVD contains data for the PC ... open with Explorer ... etc.
And a "Back" button.

I create a menu with the buttons "movie", "chapter" and "bonus". Then I create a new menu and call it a "bonus". This menu has only one button "Back". In this menu, the text says "the disc contains data for the PC is opened with explorer ... etc. ..."
