Nothing against the EX3, but spend 80% of the total budget for the camera alone, I think recommended for little. The accessories - and indeed only the necessary without great luxury - to go into a tidy Money and on the other, for the success of a project is often more important than the camera. A EX1 on a good tripod will provide you with, for example, noticeably better than a pan on a Cheaper EX3.
