Meanwhile, bring me an error in After Effects 6.5 PRO for genuine despair!
I have a 20 sec animation is created, various levels of 2D and 3D and will render the whole thing now.
When rendering [avi, with or without compression, much or little colored, quick time or swf] comes to about half of Ani the error: After Effects error: AE is when calling the rendering plug-ins' extended 3D "crashed . Puff - the end!
Meanwhile, I have several advanced settings tried composing as 3D standard, extended with various 3D settings, nothing helps.
The rendering goes sometimes with quarter, half or third resolution, but not with full!
Everything else in the program is running, such as the old projects, only with the [many] things are not 3D!
I would be really happy if someone would have a solution!

thx for inputs Pure memory problem, I would say. Too many banners and Shadowmaps levels or, Blendmodi, right? Hau just the "purge every n-th frame" in the Secret Prefs pure. Alt hold while you call up the preferences. Since then noch'n extra rear tuned Page, where you can adjust.

Although I have the secret prefs not found, but the prob is solved!
The Ani was better for the purpose of adjusting settings created in 30 fps.
It will be 25 fps with impeccably rendered.
Nevertheless, big thx s.Euch because your notice has brought me to my preferences s.mein recently revised sys adapt.
And I must confess to you, Milenium, I did, in fact, many Blendmodi etc.!

When I access the preferences when ALT hold
open the preferences exactly as if I do not do!

not with ALT to open the preferences, but with Ctrl + Shift,
then select any setting, eg general,
and then appears in the window as the top choice
"secret prefs"
