Be in a week a MAC Pro and would like to know what graphics card with the Final Cut Studio 2 and the Motion program as a perfect run. Since I spend all day s.Schnittplatz is extremely important for me.
Currently have on offer the ATI Radeon X1900 XT 512MB
Has someone experience?
Or did someone with the NIVIDA Geforce 7300 GT 256MB (3x) experience.
Had super, if I as someone with experience could give tips, with which you can work well!

The GeForce is cheaper. The ATI cost you 200 euros extra. But it is worth it. Unanimous opinion in the cutter world: X1900. Thus, you are responsible for color (!) Motion and well equipped. Final Cut Pro also benefited. If you color it, it is really cool. And for that you need power. So give your quick calculator on ne fast graphics card.

Although you can not really help, but had a few days since my new computer. have until now only DVCAM material cut, but am with the ATI Radeon X1900 highly satisfied. (cut with Final Cut Studio 2)

Till, your questions are mostly on Apple's Final Cut Pro Page answered.
I will answer in short, all is not quite so trivial.
Sure you can have a digital monitor via a DVI video output device to use. But this is never color. Can both as synonymous Premiere Final Cut Pro. In Final Cut Pro, it is much better to handle. It is called "Digital Cinema Preview". You can continue to DV via an A / D converter off and an external display interface. Or you choose to be an intelligent DeckLink card (HD with HD-SDI, s.500 euros). Final Cut Pro HD can also and was just there in real time and convert synonymous via DV camera output.
