I am looking to supplement my equipment as lightweight travel tripod. The qualities of the Velbon
DV -7000 (3,5 kg, Beine 29 mm, Schwenkkopf PH-368) sind ja bekannt, aber ich brauche für diesen speziellen Zweck etwas Leichteres.
Nun ist das Programm of Velbon so gut sortiert, dass die Wahl nicht leichtfällt.
Unter dem DV -7000 kommt das

Hello,
I know only the CX-586, which has a PH-358 head. The PH-358 head should be sufficient in any case, if your cam is not more than 1.5-2kg weight, otherwise you could be so trouble. However, you should use the PH-358 only on a stable tripod, since otherwise it may happen that pans the entire Tripod "stand out". Since the C-500 but is heavier than the CX-586, should make less. Better would be sure the C-600, is certainly a good compromise between weight and stability. Is not much, but maybe it helps you next ;-)

At my old Velbon went synonymous, since the head was just stuck on the threads. But in the new CX-686, the head is no longer the flat bottom. So even if the tripod column as somehow "rauskratzen" could, nothing would be left, which is no more work to craft another tripod mount could. DV -7000 When it's like the old Velbon that I once had, since the head has a flat bottom and can probably unscrew. So obviously there are two versions of the PH-368.
