Frage von Gilgamesch:Hi,
Although I know that the issue has perhaps been made of the frequent, but I could not find the messages.
So: When I was in my mini-DV tapes APP disc reading, the material will then want to edit and burn to DVD, what codec should I use for exporting?
DV Avi -> Mpeg2?
I come as a bit confused because halt three times in APP Mpeg1 and Mpeg2 available.
I would also like to know whether it is normal when I compress video for 3 minutes and lasts all Mpeg2 then 50 minutes.
Thank you in advance ...
Antwort von Markus:
Hello,
MPEG2 is a compression, not a codec. In any case, you need this compression format, if you want to create a DVD-Video.
The encoding of 3 minutes film is my 50 minutes render time extremely long. What could be the reason?
Antwort von Gilgamesch:
Good question;)
I guess this is because of the conversion as long as needed.
My concern's just that I need to shoot more for several days to render ...
Antwort von Markus:
So normal is not such a long render time. Unless your calculator is significantly undersized for meaningful work with Adobe Premiere Pro.

Hello,
first time ne fundamental question:
Do you have a purchased and registered with Appro-enabled "version of the Adobe Media Encoder (MainConceptMPEG)?
Otherwise we are talking mglw. past each other.
The computation of course, depends from the used effects. Color correction and such jokes seeeehr take a long time.
A "normal" video without a lot of bells and whistles (and a few crossfades Hardcut) is needed on my calculator about 1 / 3 more than the original time.
3 minutes video = ca 4-5 min computing time. VBR 2-Pass approximately twofold.
Only once as a clue.
