Dear People,
I have been a year Pana NV-GS 500, which I like very well. Only the sound for my taste was sometimes quiet, sometimes too thin synonymous with man. Audio Control. Stupid is also the part when compared with the previous model that there is no Headphones-out, so the sound really auszusteuern manual, but you must make several attempts until it roughly matches. Why is wegdesigned so what?
Now the real problem:
In frustration, I have a neat Rode video mic mono bought, which is in the video forums (synonymous here) consistently for good will. This s.Pana infected, it starts recording immediately rushing violently s.zu without the man was made, at the same settings vs.. the internal Micro. As a test against a cheap Electret Micro inserted by Conrad - Score: little noise, almost like the quality built, maybe even slightly better, as the synonymous mono Rode.
Do this now with several different levels tried, with and without AGC, AGC roars with it even stronger. Manual, as some here suggest, with -15 dB, ie about the middle of the range between -30 and 0dB set: Still a lot of noise overwhelms the recording widely.
Experiments with different levels:
In 5.Punkt of left mic setup, crack, noise, very quiet, quieter than with Enter. Mic. Practically unusable. I prefer the later again, the Rauischpegel again as before, thus unusable.
Directly underneath the kl. Arrow: big noise, superimposed on everything.
Section 4 of the left: better, but very quietly, popping / noise in the background.
Another attempt: Mic denser s.der person, the same phenomenon.

The GS 500 has no phantom power, right?

The used-Conrad. are indicative Micros Micros Type TECT, UEM-86 Japan, Super-Nierenchar. have about 20.-cost, 10 years ago
Ran perhaps the area in a PC? The noise does not have the typical frequency of a noisy preamplifier. Sounds to me more like a PC fan to.
Perhaps it is simply more sensitive than micro cheap Conrad Mikros.
If this is not the case, and it is really a self-noise of the microphone that I would return.

Sounds almost s.wie a lawnmower.
On the noise goes up to-20dB, which is a bit much. Warranty in my opinion (possibly faulty jack).

Yes, the room is running a PC, but that is far below the levels of this fat self-noise. I'm synonymous shocked and grateful that their similar look. I think I will send back s.Thomann times and see what I do as a replacement / repaired unit get.

@ Ficeduld: This is a Rode Video Mic - is just as easy, there are as synonymous Rode Stereo Video Mic, but mine is mono.
No, Pana has no phantom power, the voltage comes in on 9v Micro.

Noise is usually hears differently. With a good-sensitive capacitor with low self Micro noise level fully up in a room with running the PC does it feel like this, as in your Probeaufname.

I have in the meantime a second time exactly the same Rode Video Mic purchased for direct comparison to have. Result: The first roars as Hulle (yes I've known), the second, much less new. This could be exactly the attitude with which I was favored because of the high output level (in the middle of the setup Scala) of Rode Video Mic perfect shots. In addition, I have a T-Bone 9600 bought, but because I sometimes voices have something further away, which has a super-club setting, roars although somewhat longer, but the result still wanted a little more yield.
So I have now swapped the first and am Rode with a brand new, well-functioning very satisfied.
If it is only the question: Who has given the initial testing done ...
(Save anywhere, which is clear, but so is the very cheap stuff so Rode not synonymous. OK, no Beyerdynamic, but still.)
