Hello Forum,
I'm looking for an external directional microphone in the style of the Sennheiser MKE 400 for my old camcorder (2002).
The problem is that the DVP 7 do not have a phone jack connector, but the Micro over the (smart?) Blitzschuh to be connected. The original Micro Accessories JVC MZ-V3 is not produced anymore and is used quite expensive.
I would prefer a convenient hot shoe adapter -> Jack. Is there such a thing anyway? Or are there alternatives to the MZ-V3?

Perhaps the Rode VideoMic yes an alternative. It has in any event on a hot shoe adapter. However, I am not sure whether it is synonymous with your DVP7 compatible.

Thanks for the answer! For the Ebay auction, it was unfortunately too late. Micro had already s.Donnerstag looking at Ebay and found nothing. Strange :-(
The Rode VideoMic looks very interesting, but think I need a jack input synonymous. Or have I misunderstood what da? The DVP is yes, unfortunately, only the intelligent Blitzschuh access to the Micro. I think the Canon DM-50 could work. Only slightly more expensive.

Because I would s.deiner place before purchase but very well informed: That a special Microphone with Canon-foot on a special JVC Accessory shoe to work, I consider highly unlikely.

Ok, thought that the only accessory shoe Sonyaus series of dances. Then I will probably look at the eyes after the original part and open up a hitherto internal Micro trust.

Although the DM-50 still comes from the days when Canon at least in the mechanical field s.die standard accessory shoe has. That is, the DM-50 should have been on the DVP to fix - if the shoe of the standard. It receives no electrical connection, as synonymous these contacts are integrated in the foot and where cooks (like so synonymous with the flash in the photo area) of each manufacturer's own soup.
