Frage von baspo:Hello,
I have an external mono microphone (SonyF-V420) s.meine SonyDCR-VX2100E connected. Unfortunately, I now lack the second soundtrack (one audio channel).
S.der is the fact that the Micro Mono (eigtl enough, since only interviews are recorded) and with a mono jack plug goes into the microphone input? If so, how can I solve this problem? If not, then what is??
Thank you for your help!
Greeting, Bastian
Antwort von Markus:
Hi Bastian,
it is quite possible that only one audio channel is recorded if it is a mono microphone. Simply paste in the postpro the sound of one Page to another, and already the problem is solved. ;-)
Antwort von baspo:
Hi Markus,
Many thanks for your answer! Copying the existing soundtrack afterwards is of course possible, but (at least with my knowledge of something) time-consuming.
Is not there because no other solution (eg adapter)?
Many greetings,
Bastian
Antwort von Markus:
Whether there is an adapter, which works with that, I do not know. My camera is switchable, so that was added to both channels, synonymous when I zuspieler only one audio channel.
How then does the time out of your microphone? Can you ever link to a Picture? Then I could compare this with the views of my former Hama-directional microphone ... so that the sound was always recorded on both channels.
Antwort von mkrawietz:
According to an audio mix function, or the like, unfortunately, synonymous, I have tried in vain. The time is as follows
Antwort von beiti:
Clearly, a stereo jack adapter to resolve the problem.
I would (if the microphone is not needed elsewhere), and nip off all the mono one stereo connector soldered. This gives less problems in the long run.
Antwort von Markus:
Hey, sharp picture! ;-)
The times looks just like my s.Anschlusskabel Hama RMZ-10, that is synonymous with only a mono head and shaft, without a ring. But with my camcorder (TRV900) the sound was always recorded on two channels ... strange!
Before you nip off the times, the test time with the stereo-mono adapter. If it works (of which I'm going from synonymous), you can still rebuild the cable.

But with my camcorder (TRV900) the sound was always recorded on two channels ... strange! Then, the TRV900 seems to have a function to detect the missing right channel. Sony seems to have a specialty to be. I myself have two Canon camcorder, where I have to work as described with stereo adapter and stereo plug.
In stereo plug, the shaft, the common ground, the ring signal is on the right and the top of the signal on the left.
When commercially available mono ring shank and are united. Therefore, it is served only the left channel, while the input is bridged for the right channel with mass and is therefore silent.
Antwort von Markus:
If Sony would be the one specialty, it would still work with the VX2100 even more ... ;-)
On the other hand, I had the Hama Directional Microphone earlier s.meiner tuned TR2000 (Hi8) and have been synonymous since recorded two audio channels. The same goes for my Digital8 camcorder TRV310. - Strange!

The same goes for my Digital8 camcorder TRV310. - Strange! Theoretically it is conceivable that there are specific synonymous mono, which are folded but not ring and ring shank and tip. I know that the PMT was 10 already sold at least two versions. (I own two pieces of different model years, which have distinguished themselves in tiny visual details, but I needed the second purchased without wires and can therefore say nothing about the times.)

However that may be synonymous, in this case may help the stereo-mono adapter.

If so I'll probably go once you buy an adapter and then tell ... ... how to buy an adapter. * hihi *
Antwort von baspo:
Get in the Sch ...- Media Markt pay to carry adapter to checkout, and are connected, that the purchase went well and the sound is now available, in fact, on both tracks is ...

Hi All,
Because I've a question: Can I connect a "mono> stero" adapter for my (mono) Micro (Audio Technica) s.meine (stereo), camcorder (Panasonic NV-GS 180), ie "mono> stereo> camcorders, And so 2 soundtracks get?
Antwort von Markus:
Can I register a "mono> stero" Connect the adapter [...] so "mono> stereo> camcorders, and will thus 2 soundtracks? Yes, but the signal level is then divided into two channels. Maybe because the sound quality is worse, because the automatic transmission needs to step up the camcorder more. That you'd have to try it.
Otherwise, I would recommend copying the soundtrack later in the post on the "empty" stereo track.
The mono-stereo adapter would also have the disadvantage that the small jack on the camcorder would be more contaminated mechanically.
