In the Timeline, the Canvas un dim viewer can select the right top of the Time Code field with the right mouse button between the original time and clip duration. Unfortunately, however, has a change no visible effect whatever. Even the manual does not make me smarter - what am I doing wrong to cause what it or is it a bug?

depending on whether you drop or nondrop tc used. In the tc drop varied to clip length. Also can put you in the Media File Tc and he is not more then the TC of the tape. ... and a few more things. That makes sense already and is not a bug.

So if I understand you correctly, you want to change the clip's length in that field?
You regularly revising it in the TC field in the viewer above left. Of the fields mentioned above, you are right in the Control of the entered tc corresponding frames.
So if your question but I read through again now, You said that apparently not only ...
