Hey,
I n strange problem:
All the videos I have copies of a EX3 SxS card into Final Cut Pro and Quicktime only
30-second long videos displayed / played. Only VLC and they play in the premiere full
and length required.
I am using FCP7 and I have no desire to open all files in Premiere and export new,
I once wanted to ask you what that comes to mind as a solution.

So if you with the files that you copied the "MP4" mean the with other rigmarole in
Ex-Mat> BPAV> CLPR> EX3_Dingenskirchen_01 lie, then it is Final Cut Pro (and thus Quicktime) they
do not play (QT should show: incorrect file). In order to import it into Final Cut, you will need:
a) ... the folder structure of the original map, as indicated above, at least from folder BPAV "if you" copy "with the pull over via USB or slot of the SxS card to your Mac hard drive meant.
b) ...

plug-in for Final Cut Pro (Download).
c) ... cmd + shift +8 on the specified path to the folder to which you can log the files and they are packed in a QuickTime wrapper.

That you would not get anything at all. You could cut it into Premiere, it did not argue against it. Final Cut Pro will Quicktime, and after that it is comfortable.

If you are the cinematographer and the editor in one person and you have already noticed when you rotate, cut where you like, you're with Final Cut Pro today far back. Do you have to qualify first but the footage anyway, you can do it during the transfer process, so you have zero time loss compared with other NLEs. I know the EX and work with Premiere CS3 and CS4 of synonymous. A clever work in addition to pure speed and reliability are synonymous stability. The projection was established in

cool, thank you and good to know.
So Final Cut Pro 7 can open files mp4 and show, but unfortunately only the already mentioned 30 seconds. The same thing happens in Quicktime (of course).
Since I have only the files and not the camera, I can not import the videos, unfortunately. But since it really shows premiere synonymous and exported again, I'll try to recode it or get used s.premiere. ;)
