It is to be read again and again to shoot with the Canon 7D s.besten you old MF Lenses with a good used Aperture.
In my search on the net to find many reports that indicate some disadvantages. here justify the expense of cheap price and puts in a good picture quality?

The old one FD / MF Lenses attached to a Canon EOS 7D.

FD-optics for the 7D can forget you, with this adapter are glass (lenses) prevent this very necessary and acceptable quality.
Nikon, Leica, Pentax lenses, however, allow synonymous M42 adapter without glass, which keeps the Performance of Lenses will, but of course everything (Aperture, Focus) manual to make.
Adapters are plenty on the net, cheap (so not a bad thing) from Chinese, but synonymous from Germany (Novoflex)

Did you just EF lenses of other manufacturers (eg Pentax) with an adapter on the 7D. ?
Does this make sense? to buy a Pentax Lens and an adapter for 100 ¬ for my Canon 7D. Pentax lenses are cheaper and so much better than Canon lenses?

Look at you urgently the Tamron 17-50mm f2.8 on ... and maybe the Tokina 11-16 2.8 .... this also requires the canon 50mm 1.8 ... and you have less than 1000 ¬ for the Common perfectly covered! Later maybe NEN telephoto zoom .... or a suitcase full of fine lenses. ;)
Canon EF 24-70 mm 1:2.8 L USM Lens is a dream ... but expensive .... s.der 7D and yes, a 38-110mm, or? On the 5D is fun ....

I bought the 7D without Lens.
Use an old Canon 35-70 4.5 is old and not worth mentioning.
