Hello
First of first, I'm a newbie.
I have some funny youtube videos found, which I gladly would have on my phone. I always click on Download and then try to show me the video. But it is always the message "unrecognized format ..." I should always have any programs for download. Is this really necessary or is there a "universal application" to convert for my phone?
I've even wanted, but I really understand the specialist jargon unless me that is a normal German could explain, I sometimes say THANK YOU

Two things:
1. I think you've got there, the Flash file is not downloaded, just as with "Save Target As" is not. Via Firefoxx there are useful plugins, with which the download from youtube & Co works.
2. No idea what format you need for your cell phone, but with the free software "Super" you can certainly synonymous in the right format for you to convert.

Instead, I would rather super Mediacoder recommend. It is now better than Super. With MC, you can work very versatile. With some training time but you have to expect, especially if you do not know what container which video format - Audio Codec and fit. On MC-forum but you can find help. The software has export functions extra for certain mobile phones. Look after.
