Hab maybe my question is wrongly posed.
What happens with the data on the card if the battery is empty, but I can not see, so the cam is suddenly off.

So I have my now 2 cheap China-with battery fetched.
Press a button and 4 LEDs indicate the charge. The button is well with your thumb to reach if you want to just check the film wants.
The Charger is a need it's uncomfortable, but maybe Canon will have what it thought - it is synonymous the risk is not so high that the times things explode in the Camera.
For capacity, I can say nothing yet, will soon be testing times.
