Hi friends,
Considering the purchase of a FX1000, but can not find out whether the mini-jack audio input s.der FX1000
synonymous to LINE level is adjustable, like the VX2100. Someone knows?
Just two more questions:
When I record in DV 4:3, I will as usual PCM sound or the audio is synonymous compressed (MPEG) as for HD Audio?
If the viewfinder image in the DV mode displayed undistorted than 4:3?

On the Sony website, you can advance a PDF of the manual for free download. DV is generally sound with PCM recorded. HDV, however, always as Mpeg. The complementary and the HDV FullHD the EX1 but back in the 16-bit linear PCM. For more info, I can not give you here, I do not have the FX1000.
