Good evening
I plan to move to HDV and now stand before deciding which camera I should buy.
So far I have mainly with a CanonXM2 and it already synonymous with a VX1000 filmed. First and foremost I filme traveling, skiing / snowboarding, and other outdoor scenes s.and be synonymous in the studio.
With the Canon, I have just a little out there when it was often times unpleasant problems (not included, etc.) and have had me so I decided to try luck with Sonyzu.
Now I stand before the decision FX7 (FX1), or it may wait for the FX1000, but because the price difference, according to estimates gifts here on the page but again slightly larger. (Existing budget is around 3000 ¬)
From the Canon XH A1 has been for me for my use is not recommended, since they (apparently) not as robust and smaller synonymous (Drive) problems may occur
The fact that the FX1 and the FX7 in various different things, and both are not necessarily comparable, I could here in the forum already herrauslesen.
The FX1000 is yes, according to previous data for 3700 are ¬, is because the price change or anything else, these data are reliable?
I would be very grateful to have a small decision-support ;-)

I tend more to the FX7, since they are slightly smaller and lighter and has a very good automatic should have. Movies currently still in DV with SonyTRV60, which is wonderfully handy, has a nice picture - but still not DV and HDV.
Be a little wait, until after the Hanover Fair in early March 2009. Now in the winter semester of movies I do not so much.
Had my Sony, however, already for skiing with, it has survived and functioned. Here's a video (not of me)

Can this somehow explain why you with her warmgeworden're not? You like me of the size and weight - a bit smaller and lighter than the rest "Henkel men" when synonymous unfortunately the XLR-Micro can not remove - you will have no more sound, it has no built-in Microphone, like other models . And the FX7 in turn, has fewer features, aside from the sound:

Remain small HV30 and HC9 whose image s.die Henkel men should heranreichen. But if I want it? A modernized HC-1 I would like - there is not, and the HVR-A1 will cost almost as much as the FX7. One for me almost impossible camera search! ;-)

According to the dealers on http://geizhals.at/eu/a372818.html is expected to close in mid-November there will be more likely.

This is of course understandable that crashes and malfunctioning rear camera operator denatured the joy you have - I doubt, however, that you have the smaller sensors could somehow have noticed. In any case in the (practice-) tests in the magazines "Active video-digital" comes off very well. Especially at night synonymous recordings (Issue 1 / 2008, India-travel).

With a rear camera control via LANC, and especially with Sony's Cam, I had no problems! This is what I listen to something completely new!

But not now sweeping all V1 into disrepute: it is there for exactly the same V1, with which I had to do. Interestingly, however, that a synonymous LANC FX7 with this problem is noticed.

The original mono-Micro is replaced by the special, only 13,6 cm short Beyer Dynamics MCE 72 PV CAM, in the Ori-bracket matches.

Lanc problems but synonymous of the Lanc - control come from, not of the Camera. I've been using for years, s.VX-1000, PD-150 and V1E the "expensive VariZoom VZ-PRO-L Control-L". None Still Camera gabs with problems, despite the slow-Zoom

There is a new, more favorable FX-7 FX-1000 plus give. Only it is not clear whether the "old" FX-7 is cheaper, or whether this is a "new" FX-7 is.

before me is a brand-new FX1000E :-)
Here are some first impressions:
Advance: I know that the FX1000 is the successor to the FX7, but I have practical experience with the Z1 ;-) and can therefore only these two "compare".
1.Äußerliches
At first glance it looks a Z1 to confuse similar. However, the first "touch" on that cabinet, but a stage direction is plastic. It looks a bit "cheaper", the Z1 has value and seems a better material to be manufactured. Where: The F1000 is well processed, everything is stuck, professionally and it clatters nix.
Where: The SELECT / PUSH-wheel is a little unreasonable. Either the wheels on my cam too far 'or reingedrückt SONY has since gepennt. One must put his finger into it already pressed to the wheel to rotate. Unfortunately this is the pressure point ( "push") rather close, so you always accidentally "pushes" and inadvertently selects the menu item.
Otherwise, everything is s.seinem place. Zoom, Aperture, Focus did not stop, but can easily, with enough resistance to be served (feels very "pro" to) ;-)
The display is great, beautiful sharp, bright and clear. Focus points can be seen _deutlich_ better than on the Z1-display.
The aperture can be as protection for the purpose of Z1 lens sealed. Zebra and autofocus are easily accessible.
2. Picture quality
Synonymous Here I can only describe a first impression. Super sharp, clear picture. Purely subjective noticeably better than the Z1 - albeit somewhat typical CMOS color and lichtschwächer. However, with this one user settings to compensate.
The 20-fold zoom makes every grain of dust a rock ;-), at first glance, the SONY zoom lens at the end cleanly through without noticeable distortion.
3. Sound
So, [revision].
I achieved a dritttes Micro test. That sounds wonderful. The sound of the camera is completely in order.

Except for the sound of the camera is a perfect friend cheaper.
