'm in the search for my problem in search of this forum have come. Here my question (although the archives have posts to read, but I am not come next): I have the Windows Media Player 11 in the system. Movie files are being played and the sound is normal, but the colors are totally wrong. One has the impression that it is negative images with lost colors, red, blue with stripes, but this will change. On the graphics card can not lie, as mpg files (or mpeg) on the Quick Time player normally play (eg synonymous Power DVD is normal). So the only movies from Windows Media Player should be showing this false. I have the Player 11 is deleted to 10 and back, but he has the same problem. A Neuaufspielung by Player 11 is not used. Why? Asking for answers easy to understand, because I of the "innards" of the PC does not have much clue.

I had the same problem with Windows Media Player 9 with wmv files. After installing the Microsoft patch kb891122 of the colors of wmv files back to normal.
