Hello,
we have short notice for a training project several camcorder rent. For Choice is Canon XH-A1 and Sony HDR FX-1.
The processing takes place s.MAC with Final Cut Express instead.
The JVC 251, we had problems capture via firewire.
Is there Entscheidungstips for Canon or Sony. How are the cams of FinalCut detected / controlled or if there are compatibility issues.
The rent is the same. Since it is a large number of equipment involved, I would certainly like to go and would be grateful for any tip!
Unfortunately, the project emerged very quickly, so that we can with None of the two models can make pre-tests.

Recording to SDHC cards and the clips in Final Cut Pro Quicktime format can directly be used for cutting. Perfect for VJs.

Both new JVC models are extremely interesting, but unfortunately we can not wait. Therefore, Canon or Sony. We do not want to buy, rent only 10 days ...
