Frage von Auf Achse:Hello!
For the recording of a concert I would like to add a field recorder simultaneously with the sum signal from the mixer and a microphone on the atmosphere. My Tascam DR-07 has only two lanes and can accommodate either via mic or line IN IN. I could trick now and put the mic signal through a preamplifier to the line signal hochpegeln and with the sum signal on one track each from Tascam. Or the line signal runterpegeln (when it exists at all so what to Runterpegeln) and take over both Mic.
The elegant version would be a Fildrecorder on the mic and can take
the same line. Can the Tascam DR-100 or the zoom H4n it? From the specifications of the equipment is not clear ....
Thanks and regards,

since in the rule of the microphone input is preceded by the line input, physical switch, there is no further connection from the line (or mic input) to the recorder part, so that the desired fail.
how about an alternative with a second recorder, the zoom is h-1 and have to line signals when probably not a bad choice for about 100 ¬.
another alternative would be a small field mixer, which mixes the signals and / or distributed in the panorama, and then via line output is on the recorder.

The zoom H4n should but actually can. Otherwise, just use the 2 devices. Or the Edirol R-44, portable four-track recorder. Or a professional mixer. Can you rent synonymous.

You'll get there but hell times purely because the stage Micros are probably quite far away of your camera-receiving position.
Besides, you have to check with your recorder just to see whether any of the audio makes a data compression. In the worst case, (Stereo) channels from each other in shooting mode dependent and the channels are recorded LR (from data reduction reasons).
You need therefore to a recorder that records two completely independent channels and the crosstalk between the channels is sufficiently synonymous else that is quite a blind flight.
Why do you take the stereo output of the mixer to the recorder's NICT and the camera tracks than Athmo-mixing. The two tones are not synchronously anyway, because the camera, as I said, is too far away.
25 m distance is approx. 5 images asynchrony.

I would like to complete both the sum signal as synonymous the entire atmosphere. In the atmosphere of the camera result of the maturities additional sound differences depending on which direction you just filming. -> I like really.
In the Field Mixer synonymous variant, there are various terms which remain at least constant, 2x in the field recorder version still comes to the asynchronous drift.
... Not that easy ....
