Hello,
To play a video of my camera to the PC, I use the program Sony Vegas. Synonymous, it all works quite well, except for the exception that the files are always big for the 15 gigabyte is, if I have aufenommen just one hour. It is stated in Vegas, that 3,4 mb / sec. be made.
Jezt my question: How can I make less than this number??

Strictly speaking, your files are so big around the 12 to 13 GB / hour of video material. This is so because of the material is copied to a digital camcorder as a DV-avi via firewire to the PC. And because computer hardware has a non-changeable, constant compression ratio, the size of the DV-avi files defined for this copy immutable fixed.
Are modifying the correct procedure is then that you make in DV-avi to DV editing in Vegas - in other words, the first anything. Only when you're done with the DV editing gives you s.end of the process, the cut material as to mepg-2 from - to burn a DVD from a space-saving too. Or if necessary use other compression formats such as wmv or DivX synonymous. But all these formats are for the actual cutting to recommend less - to make it ideally halt in DV-avi.
