Moin, I had a problem with my laptop. It could no longer boot up. To back up my files, I have developed the hard drive, installed in an external enclosure and connected s.einen another computer. Unfortunately, I can hardly find any files on the hard drive. In particular, all on the desktop and the My Documents folder is gone, but important. About di search engine, I have already searched some files, but it appears nothing. I can see that the hard drive with about 37 GB is occupied, but when I Add together the visible folder I only come to about 3 GB. I Can someone give a tip? Thank you in advance. ct

About visualize Tools / Folder Options / View - The correct MyDocuments folder found? \ On various accounts under C: \; Documents and Settings \; [user] [files of user] What does the Disk Management on the drive? (; Right click on My Computer, Manage)
