The Leipzig Independent Festival celebrates its 5th Jubilee!
For the fifth time starts s.Freitag, 3 December 2010, the Leipzig Film Festival "The Night of the radical film". For the first time the festival is celebrated over a period of two nights. In the old ballroom of the west wing Lindenfels 10-15 "radical" films from Saxony, Europe and the world will be shown and discussed.
The audience can look forward to experimentally-political-artistic movies. Old friends and fresh artists present their works in the fields of fiction, documentary, animation and experimental film.
S.einen first time the competition films, the "Golden Lens" is awarded. The jury will be present from the directors themselves formed, in an open discussion to determine the winning film. After the movie, the anniversary is celebrated with live music.
On Saturday there is next with a panel discussion: Leipziger Filmmakers, film producers and cinema operators to discuss the future of independent film s.Beispiel the region Leipzig-West. This is followed by the "Open Screening Leipzig West". Here Filmmakers can unannounced own strip show to the audience. Even today the evening surrounded of live music.

Yesterday, the first submissions were spotted!
There were many surprises, among them, we look forward to the next entries. So just send film s.uns mid-November and will notify you! (I'm sitting with the 8köpfigen selection committee).
