Frage von Mr Jo:Hi guys,
since today was my new camera, a SonyHDR-HC3, HDV delivers truly impressive images.
Now I would love to rewind my film cut back on the DV tape. With the help of APP 2.0 I'm not coming next, there is that I am in the project settings the output device, so my Sonyauswählen want - only 2.0 APP said that no device is present, although I can capture via FireWire without problems my film.
Edit:
=====
Premiere (and synonymous winXP) is doing well in general are difficult to detect with the HDV camera, but that should not be an obstacle, since it works as the camera is detected when the standard DV format is set. HDVsplit has no problem with the part and works perfectly.
The important thing would be to know in general how to spend 2.0 APP with a movie on tape. Or are there special tools for this?
Nice greeting Mr Jo
Antwort von Weka:
If your camera is not recognized by the device control, you can play the movie on tape manual.
Camera to VTR and set simultaneously press the Record button and start the timeline playback (Space). By doing this you do not accidentally leaves out the first pictures, it is advisable that before the actual film for a few seconds put black image on the Timeline.

Antwort von Mr Jo:
Hi Weka
Unfortunately, this does not work - although the camera shows the input of the iLink (ie Firewire) interface, but is fed into the cable No Picture .. Schöber blue screen, nothing else .. was worth a try ..
Ev nor who else has experience with APT 2.0 and HDV?
Greeting Mr Jo
Antwort von Weka:
Have you tried it once with another cable?
Greeting, Weka
Antwort von Mr Jo:
Hi Weka
have just the tape-edition with a standard DV project examined (ie, SD 720 x 576). That works without problems. This Project is synonymous recognized the camera, not as SonyHC3 but as DV 720 x 576 device. Thus, it can probably be addressed.
The problem seems to be that at the moment when the HC3 is set to HDV recording, the camera synonymous of winXP is not recognized. So no device in "Cameras", while the cam with the standard - DV setting certainly appears in Device Manager.

Which version of XP do you have in use? SP1 does not recognize the HDV devices automatically, because you have to install the drivers manually. Only under SP2, this camcorder will be automatically recognized.

Antwort von wolfgang:
And so I'm going under SP1, with the manually installed drivers for both my FX1 as synonymous my PD1.
Antwort von Mr Jo:
Hi Wolfgang,
have all updates including SP2 .. fairly new installation, just 3 months old and has never been any problem in this regard, no incompatibilities, no blue screen or the like - synonymous with SlipStream installation CD, so the SP2 already integrated, leading to easy handling contributes significantly ..
So now all I tested again, s.meinem notebook, the camera was not connected before - there is basically identical to the result. Did the Cam are on HDV, at the moment she was connected to the FireWire cable, you could clearly see that drivers will be installed. But no device in Device Manager under "Imaging devices".
The moment when I set the recording format to SD DV, in turn installed a Drivers and the camera appears in the Device Manager under "Imaging Devices" as a Sony DV camcorder.
Now I create with the connected and located in the SD mode, SD-DV Cam, a new project in APP is detected the camera immediately and dubbing of one PC to tape is no problem.
Now I create an HDV Project (the Sony settings, with which I can capture synonymous, so 1080i 25), the device is not in the general project settings available. However, it seems to me logical, what is an SD DV device in an HDV project.
Here, I turn the camera on HDV, again finds no place in the detection device manager to recognize the Cam HDVSplit totally correct, however, by name and the name and working properly.
This behavior is both on the PC as synonymous in the notebook completely identical.
If not now, next tragic for me if there is any tool, just as HDVSplit there that you could easily use to display the movie on tape ..
Gruß Jo
Edit:
====
I now once again made a naked winXP SP2 installed, open the Device Manager and then plugged the camera in HDV mode. And lo and behold, like before at my previous installation of the device is recognized and included a Driver. Except that the cam does not appear under Imaging Devices, but as an AV / C tape device "Audio - Video - and game controllers".
Thus the detection in Windows is completely correct, and only s.unerwarteter little assertive body .. Now only the question whether APP 2.0 that simply can not act .. is

So if HDVSplit the camcorder in HDV mode detects you, it probably has nothing to with the recognition of the camcorder from the perspective of the operating system.
Antwort von Mr Jo:
Hi Wolfgang,
Beitag've extended my previous edit just about this knowledge /. The cam is definitely recognized. And now?

Antwort von wolfgang:
Then probably sounds more like an Adobe Premiere Pro 2 problem. Have you ever been in contact with their support?
Antwort von Mr Jo:
Hi,
so isses, it seems to be a problem to be 2.0 APP. The support says that one of Sonynur would FX1 supports up to 100% ..
On the other hand, some people do seem to already have the HC3 home - as it would be an undesirable experience ..
For example, some say in this post:

So all tosh ..
The solution is so close that one (s) the trees for the forest does not see. And a striking example of how to talk past one another or over can be interpreted. You have to click only issue on File> Export>> on tape and even funzt das.
My mental Koten: I have tried in the project settings under "Record", select the camera too. What does not go with the HC3. So I understood the help text in app 2.0. It says:
To prepare the recording to DV tape to:
Choose Project> Project Settings> General. Click "Play Settings".
Enter in the "Export" dialog box "Play Settings" the appropriate format in the "External Device" on. That works just fine with SD-DV, but not with HDV - and can thus be played back in SD DV timeline in the action, I press the VCR Recording and off you go.
HDV with the above-mentioned export to tape it renders the entire movie first, after half the Vortschrittbalkens the recording starts at the camera.
Thank s.Bruno Peter, with few but telling words could solve my knots ;-))
